Upcoming Workshops

Millom Music School are proud to announce that we have received grant funding from David Allen’s Police, Fire and Crime Commissioners’ community fund.

This summer, we will be running 4 very special workshops at The Beggar’s Theatre, following on from the success of our ‘play in a rock band’ workshops.

ADULTS and TEENS workshops

📅 Tuesday 18th August and Wednesday 19th August 6pm-8pm.

Workshops to learn a small number of songs as a band and perform them as a group at our evening concert on Friday 21st August (6pm start)

The 2 evening workshops is a total of £6 for both evenings.

CHILDREN’S WORKSHOPS

📅 Thursday 20th August (10am – 3pm) and Friday 21st August (10am-3pm).

Learn a number of songs together as a band, make your own tie-dye band t-shirt, and design a logo to go on them.

Polish your pieces to perform to an audience of friends and family at 6pm on Friday, 21st August.

The 2 full-day children’s workshops are a total of £10 for both days.

📅 Saturday 10th October. 10am – 3pm. 

A day of singing, learning traditional songs from Zimbabwe and South Africa.

Acapella singing. All ages, abilities, and voices are welcome – Let’s show him how amazingly musical our small town is!

£10 for the day. 

The cost of this event is being subsidised by RNCM – Royal Northern College of Music, in another amazing opportunity for our town.
