Ticket Prices and Booking Fees:
A booking fee applies to all ticket purchases and helps cover the costs of processing bookings and maintaining our ticketing service.
- Online bookings: A booking fee of 10% of the ticket price is charged per ticket.
- Bookings made in person at the Box Office or over the telephone: A booking fee of £1.00 per ticket is charged.
The applicable booking fee will be clearly displayed or explained before you complete your purchase. Booking fees are non-refundable except where a full refund is issued because an event has been cancelled by The Beggar’s Theatre or the event organiser.
Ticket Delivery:
The Beggar’s Theatre operates an electronic ticketing system and does not issue physical tickets.
Once your booking has been completed, you will receive two emails: one confirming your payment and a separate email containing your e-tickets. If you do not receive these emails, please check your spam or junk folder before contacting us.
There is no need to print your tickets. On arrival, simply provide the name under which the booking was made to our Box Office staff, who will check you in.
If you are unable to locate your ticket confirmation or e-ticket email, please contact the Box Office, and we will be happy to resend it.
Ticket exchange and refunds:
You’re not entitled to a refund if you change your mind about going or realise you can’t go anymore.
Tickets are non-refundable unless an event is cancelled by The Beggar’s Theatre or the event organiser. If a performance is cancelled, affected customers will be contacted with details of the refund process.
Exchanging tickets from one event to another may be permitted at the discretion of The Beggar’s Theatre.
Programme Alterations:
Every effort is made to avoid alterations to the programme. However, we reserve the right to cancel or alter events if this is unavoidable. We will try to contact all ticketholders affected.
Admission and Attendance:
Right to Refuse: The Beggar’s Theatre reserves the right to refuse admission or eject any person for abusive, threatening, or anti-social behaviour. All visitors are expected to be respectful of staff, volunteers, performers, and other visitors whilst attending events organised by The Beggar’s Theatre. Harassment of any kind will not be tolerated.
Latecomers: Late arrivals are not guaranteed immediate entry and may be asked to wait for a suitable break or the interval.
Security Searches: We may conduct bag searches upon entry for the safety of all attendees.
Seating:
Unless otherwise stated, seating at The Beggar’s Theatre is unreserved and is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
A small number of seats may be reserved for patrons who have purchased an annual reserved seating membership or where seating has been allocated for operational reasons. We kindly ask that these reserved seats are respected.

Photography and Recording:
The use of photography, audio recording, and video recording equipment during performances is not permitted unless otherwise stated or with the prior permission of The Beggar’s Theatre or the performer.
Official photographers or videographers may be present at selected events to capture images or footage for promotional and marketing purposes. By attending an event, you acknowledge that you may appear in such material. If you have any concerns about being photographed or filmed, please speak to a member of staff before the performance.
Mobile Phones and Electronic Devices:
To avoid disrupting performances, all mobile phones, smart watches, tablets, and other electronic devices must be switched off or set to silent before the performance begins. Please refrain from using devices during the performance, as illuminated screens and notifications can distract performers and fellow audience members.
Refreshments:
Drinks purchased from The Beggar’s Theatre may be taken into the auditorium. Food and drink purchased elsewhere must not be consumed within the venue. Please dispose of any litter responsibly or use the bins provided.
Smoking and Vaping:
Smoking and the use of electronic cigarettes (vaping) are strictly prohibited anywhere inside The Beggar’s Theatre. Visitors wishing to smoke or vape must do so outside the building.
Special Effects:
Some performances may include the use of strobe lighting, flashing lights, haze, smoke, loud sound effects, or other theatrical effects.
